The Government of Sierra Leone has instructed a community living on a remote island that they must leave their homes. Most of the islands’ residents have moved their homes across the island at least once now. Why have they been told to leave, and what is it that makes them so sure they want to stay?
Currently in post production, Bex’s first multi faceted, multi media project has the working title, The World that was the Island that was the World. It has taken place over ten years in Sierra Leone, West Africa, and includes a podcast, series’s of photographs, and a documentary feature film.
